WHAT IS HYPNOSIS/HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy is different for everyone. Some people will feel somewhat awake and alert the whole time whilst others will daydream and fall into a comfortable rest.
All of these are completely normal and you are in control at all times.
Think of it as a comforting and relaxing meditative state where your subconcious can truly heal.
HOW EFFECTIVE IS HYPNOTHERAPY?
Hypnosis is an extremely effective and safe form of therapy though with anything outcomes are dependant on the participation of the client also.
Whilst a lot of other forms of therapies struggle for a 30% effectiveness, our hypnotherapy techniques have ove 95% success.
WHAT DOES HYPNOSIS FEEL LIKE?
Whilst there are differing levels of hypnosis, the majority of people describe it as being in a calm, comfortable, relaxed, mental and physical state.
Whilst in this state they (or more importantly their subconcious) are able to focus on the session, what is being said and what is being suggested.
It is almost like taking a nap except you are being guided through an experience.

IS HYPNOTHERAPY SAFE?
Hypnotherapy is the safest forms of therapy.
Despite what a lot of people think Hypnosis actually allows you to gain more control and focus.
Throughout the whole process you are in total control and it is not possible for anyone to make you do anything you do not want to do. - it is not like stage hypnosis (see across).
You will be focussed, relaxed and able to hear everything said and respond as required.
I ONLY KNOW OF HYPNOTHERAPY BEING PEOPLE ON STAGE DOING SILLY THINGS
Stage Hypnosis very carefully selects the people it chooses for its shows based on their willingness and compliance in taking suggestions and also their entertainment value. They are
within a very small percentage of people who are extremely susceptible to hypnosis.
What you see on stage is purely entertainment, whilst it uses the same principles - it is not the same as hypnotherapy.
WILL YOU MAKE ME CLUCK LIKE A CHICKEN OR ENJOY EATING ONIONS?
As you are in total control the whole time you will not do anything you do not want to do.
Besides that clucking like a chicken or eating onions has no benefit in any treatments unless you have a chicken acting job coming up?

- Some background information about you and your habit
- Talking about the session and how it works
-Conducting your personalised hypnotherapy session taylored just for you.
- Giving you support materials to help ensure you succeed
-Follow up sessions if required
-You to be a better version of yourself forever more.
CAN I BE HYPNOTISED?
The simple answer is - Yes!
The longer answer is that everyone can be hypnotised. We all experience a simpler form of hypnosis every day of our lives - from watching TV ad's to remembering memories as a child.
As long as you are not under the influence of anything and have a willingness and open mind hypnotherapy will be effective.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AS A HYPNOTHERAPY CLIENT?
Open, willing and committed.
All you need to do is be open to the suggestions,
Willing to undertake the suggestions asked of you and
Committed to the process.
On some sessions you will be required to do some homework and listen to recordings at home.
Hypnotherapy only works when the client is actively involved in the treatment as much as the therapist.
